Some Extra Buechner

I apologize for not keeping up with my blog the last few days. And I apologize in advance for the next few as I will not have access to a computer. So I thought I would leave you with a couple of Frederick Buechner quotes for you to chew on until Sunday.

“Don’t start looking in the Bible for the answers it gives. Start by listening for the questions it asks.”

“Faith is better understood as a verb than as a noun, as a process than as a possession. It is on-again-off-again rather than once-and-for-all. Faith is not being sure where you’re going but going anyway. A journey without maps. [Paul] Tillich said that doubt isn’t the opposite of faith; it is an element of faith.”
